Triple Melt Glaze - 3 Pints - Layered

Swan City Ceramics glazes are made for Cone 6 Electric firings.

Triple Melt is unlocked by layering three of our glazes
Turquoise over Perry Purple over Pink Opal.

This combo creates an Blue, Pink and Purple streaks depending on your application.

This listing is for all 3 pints, Turquoise, Perry Purple and Pink Opal.
All glazes are mixed to a specific gravity of 1.40.

Our Method:
1) FIRST : Pink Opal - 3-4 coats are recommended for brushing. Dip or Pour one coat.
2) SECOND : Perry Purple - 2 even coats brushed thin. (Thick application during layering of Perry Purple results in flaking. If you see flaking, finger sand down once dry with a respirator on)
3) THIRD : Turquoise- Dip or brush onto the rim of your piece up to a 1/2 inch.

All examples were applied using the above method, and fired at Cone 6 electric, using a white stoneware body.
